"Poor Man's" Watch Sales and Trading Forum (PMWSF) Posting Rules

The PMWF "Community Guidelines" apply as outlined here. In addition, posts on the sales forum have to follow the rules below:

Purpose of this board is: Sales and Trading of Watches and Watch Accessories (Tools, Watch boxes, Winders etc.) below USD 1'000 item price. PMWSF does not differentiate between dealers and hobbyists.
No counterfeit or fake Watches and Watch Accessories maybe offered here! Also no WTTs or WTBs for fake or counterfeit products.
Example 1: A CTI quartz chrono that uses the Breitling logo on the center second hand is a fake. Example 2: RXW's Marina Militare is infringing Copyrights according to a Japanese Highcourt and until the matter is resolved, to be considered as a fake. Example 3: A Citizen or Seiko Submariner-like that borrows from the design of e.g. a Rolex Submariner are not fakes but "Hommages".
Sellers need to post a valid and working (accessible to the Admin Team) email address. Per each Day Sellers can post:
- 3 Watches or Accessories (Watchbands, Bracelets, Tools, Watch Boxes or Winders) below USD 1'000 per item within 24 hours. Please note that one watchband or one bracelet count as one item.
- For professional sellers (now defined as advertisers and those who have taken advantage of the pay2play option): you may offer watches in different dial colors or with strap or bracelet options. If it is the same model, it will count as one item. The same is true for leather, rubber, Nylon, Kevlar or any other material watch straps also called watch bands: if it is the same band with the same grain or pattern made from the same material with the same stitching and lining and the same padding and with the same buckle in different colors, it counts as one. And watch boxes and winders in different colors or finishes count as one if it is the same model.
- Combos: You may offer 3 items below USD 1'000 combined in one post with a combined price. This will count as your full daily quota or three posts. Or offer 2 items below USD 1'000 with a combined price. This will count as two posts.
- Dream Weekends: "Poor Men" have dreams too! Therefore you can post 3 items without upper limit on Saturday & Sunday (forum GMT time stamp). The PMWF Admins reserve the right to change or drop this "Dream Weekend" should the rule be exploited in ways not foreseen. Thank you for understanding.

Minimal Description of For Sale (FS) or Want-to-Trade (WTT) Items include:

At least 1 Picture showing the current condition of the watch. Admins are free to delete posts without comments that e.g. use a picture of a brand new watch trying to sell a 5 year old second hand watch. All defects, dings, hairlines, wear, scratches that are not visible in the picture need to be described in detail! A link to a picture hosted somewhere on the web is not sufficient. You can easily include multiple pictures hosted on the web into your sales post using the img (Image) tag. The article "Post Pictures?" above explains in detail how to do that.
Detailed description of Condition of Item using the TimeZone Grading System if the watch is not brand new or 100%. Lack of language knowledge is also no excuse for improperly describing a watch or accessories. If the Item's Serial Number had been removed for whatever reason, then this needs to be stated in the post.
Overall Condition in Percent: e.g. 95%, e.g.100% for a brand new watch, e.g. 80% for a NOS or exhibition watch that had been handled a lot in the shop before but not been worn.

Price and Shipping. Price excluding shipping has to be below USD 1'000!

Papers need to be described accurately. Open or dated papers, international or limited warranty etc.

WTB (Want to Buy) items do not have to contain an image, but an image might help to avoid confusion.

FS, WTT Posts using "stolen" Pictures will be removed immediately without explanation. Posters repeatedly using Pictures without permission/credit will be banned from this forum. See the banning pattern below. Use your own Pictures. Or use Pictures with Permission and give Credit please, thank you.

No Replies to Posts please! No comments from buyers, no negotiating or bargaining on this board please. All communication in Email please. This is a Sales Forum and not a discussion board. Replies will be removed without explanation. After one warning mail and if violations re-occur, the poster will be banned for 30, 60, 120, 240 days, then life time from www.PMWF.com (the ban includes the Discussion Forum). This is the banning scheme for all rule violations on PMWF (discussion forum) and PMWSF (sales forum).
The only Exceptions are:

Questions from Buyers if there are obvious mistakes, omissions or errors in a post or if you spot a fake
Additional information/Corrections added by Seller only
Announcement of a closed transaction by Seller only

You will have to wait 3 Days (forum timestamp) if you posted your watch on the Discussion Forum (PMWF) before posting it here. The PMWF should not become a pure launch platform for PMWSF advertisings. You are not allowed to post pictures of your watches for sale or trade on PMWF as long as they are on this main page.

No links to Ebay Auctions or other Auctions! Also no links to Posts of the same Item on other Sales Forums. Of course picture links to other forums/servers/hosts are OK. Automatically uploaded pictures to PMWSF will be deleted ones the posts scroll off the main page.

Try to resolve ISSUES with MAIL first, only if that fails REPORT Bad Guys to DEALWATCH on Watchnet.com please. Strictly no mails to us about deals gone sour please. We are no judges, thank you for understanding
