Port Royal Chrono, ca. 2003,
A gift for the 50th Birthday
I took extra care to pack the parts for the transport to
the watch repair shop
And the watchmaker that received the watch expressed his astonishment twice about how this watch arrived at the shop. I had grouped the parts carefully so no scratching or bending would occur during the taxi ride. The bigger round box for the movement, additionally cushioned with some plastic sheet. Also in a plastic sheet and in the smaller box, the balance assembly. A separate bag for the rotor and next to it the watch case. Top row left is the crown including all the screws. Middle row fltr: hands, dial, case back. Bottom row fltr: escapement lever, gasket ring of case back and 6 case back screws and in the last bag is the spacer.
