Gold plated El Primero, Cal. 400, Montblanc Hemingway

Another funny and very impulsive Watch Buy
I was promenading in Florence in May 2002 and looking for a restaurant to eat dinner. Suddenly I spotted a tiny watch shop which had a "Liquidation Sale" shield in its windows. To my excuse I can say that paper plate was screaming fluorescent pink - red, so one could not have missed that one.
One I entered the shop I knew of course that I was lost already ... several great watches there for sale. Worried about having to bring this watch back to Switzerland first and then to Thailand, I decided not to buy more then one watch. Now it turns out I made a good selection. Those leaf hands gold-plated El Primeros seem to be quite rare.
