Gold plated El Primero, Cal. 400, Case Back

Some people had doubts ...
That Zenith made a gold-plated El Primero when I posted the picture on Time
Zone in 2002. Thus I had to take a quick shot of the back. At that time I was a
rather inexperienced watch photographer and was happy already when the watch was
in focus. Thus I did not really care that one could see the edge of the wooden
table I chose as a back ground. And this is also a nice memory of my first
digital Watch Camera, not bought to photograph watches mainly, but to document
the life of our young daughter. Turned out it was a great outdoor camera, but
not so suitable for watch photography. My best watch shot with the Canon Ixus
Digital Elph is here,
the Girard-Perregaux Traveler II. But it took me about 2 hours, 70 shots and a
lot of moving of the lights and reflector cards to get that GP shot right!
