WS 22: Servicing a SEIKO 7005 including replacing the balance
Foreword
I had found this watch on the Jatujak market (Bangkok's biggest weekend flea market) on August 12th 2002. Almost exactly three years later, I finally found the time and courage :) to clean it. This time without my watch tutor Rob B. OK, I had to call Rob twice. First on how to get some information on how to take the balance off. And again on how to open the main barrel. Please find Rob's great article about the "Seiko Workhorse" where he describes an overhaul and features of the SEIKO Caliber 7005 and also compares it to the 7009 and 7S26 and 7S36 calibers.
