WS 22: Servicing a SEIKO 7005 including replacing the balance

The hairspring should get an extra rinsing in alcohol to really make sure it is free from any residues. There are special hairspring dips available, but unfortunately not here in Thailand.
What surprised me was, that the hairspring looked perfect after the ultrasonic cleansing while submersed in isopropyl alcohol. That is by the way just an air bubble next to the roller. But it was just a trick of the eye. When lifting the hairspring out of the alcohol bath, it clearly showed the deformation.
