WS 8: Cleaning the winding parts of a Rolex Caliber 3035
How to remove a movement from a watch is explained in detail in
this article.
There is one special thing to note about Rolex watches though: the skirted
screws that hold the movement in place are turned clock-wise to open! But this already all you should remember.
It goes just against the intuition. And I also mention it here, there is a risk
that you mark the skirted case screw heads when applying too much force by turning
them into the wrong direction. Also this movement requires a ca. 120 degree
turn until you can lift it out of the case. But this is relatively easy to see
when looking at the inside of the case and the movement.
