WS 21 How to use a Spring Bar Fork tool
The Thin Fork and Clasp Spring Bar Pusher
The handle of my tool is made in Hong Kong and is made out of
brass with a thick chrome plate layer. Why do I know this? Because I used my
watch blade filing stone and filed down that layer to see whether the whole
handle is made of the same material :)
The tool tips are stainless steel, so you do not want to drive them inside the
case between the lugs!
As mentioned before, the thin fork has a pin pusher on the opposite end to open
spring bars on deployant clasps. And the pusher end of the thin fork is not a
split pin pusher for bracelets! It is too thin and fragile and designed to
fit into the normally narrower holes in the deployant clasp of steel bracelets.
