Removing a bracelet - Step 1: Open the clasp spring bar

The picture below shows the intended use of the opposite end of the thin fork, as a clasp spring bar pusher. Also please do NOT try to save a couple of seconds by omitting this step. Opening the clasp's spring bar does not take long and removing the bracelet is a lot easier and safer if the watch lays flat on the work pad. I have seen many people trying to short cut this step and then scratching the inside of the lugs when trying to remove the spring bars from the end links because the working angle is never optimal if the bracelet is not open and separated at the clasp.
