WS 20: Replacing the battery on a Patek Philippe Ladies' Quartz Nautilus

Here is how to remove the movement

After pulling the crown out to the date setting position (or also called position 2 in many manuals), I was able to lift the movement and then hold it with the index and thumb of the right hand. Important is to hold it in the position shown below. Please note that I did the drawing showing the movement after the two piece stem already disengaged.

Once the movement's lower edge resides on the case edge, insert a pair of plastic tweezers and position them as shown in the picture below. Then gently tilt the tweezers back while observing that the lower part of the movement is clear from the case as seen in the picture above. In my case, the split stem disengaged smoothly and the movement did not fly out. I could however imagine that this varies for different split stem types and manufacturers. To play safe it is a good idea to hold the movement with the left index and thumb and using finger cots in order to avoid finger prints.
