WS 20: Replacing the battery on a Patek Philippe Ladies' Quartz Nautilus
The movement and the battery
I was a bit less surprised then fellow forumners, I kept posting pictures yesterday night from each stage on www.PMWF.com, to find an Energizer battery (equivalents are Renata 364 and Maxel SR621SW) in this Patek. In the Patek 24 Hours that I had opened before I had also found an Energizer battery. Removing the battery is easy, use a 0.8 mm screwdriver around the position of the "3" of the "364" inscription of the battery and carefully prey the battery out. Replace with a new Energizer battery of with the Renata or Maxell batteries mentioned above. I chose a Renata 364 since I had them in stock. This is a very common battery type and the watch should run 2 to 3 years.
