Whether public holiday or not, the "Proper Hajiali" or "Crossroads" intersection was always good for a wait of about 10 to 20 minutes. Bombay is located on a peninsula, that explains the enormous density of its infrastructure. And at the "Crossroads" 4 major roads come together. Each jam packed with cars, horse carriages, motor bikes, pedestrians.
This was on the public holiday after Ramadan, a group of Indian women from the South show their beautiful Sunday Saris and their best shoes. Mostly golden and silver shoes are worn and much to my surprise, across all the infamous castes. Now we are already close to the new office building, located between the India Turf and the prestigious Willingdon 18 hole Golf Course.
