To be fair, not only the fault of Thai Airways, but mostly due to the negligence of the subcontracted Air India employees who really do not care whether you are a toddler, an 80 year passenger with a stick, an economy traveler or a first class passenger. After countless announcements like "Please be seated, you still have time to the boarding" or "5 more minutes to boarding" which only increased the pressure at the door, a very fat red haired (henna) Air India employee opened the door without any further comment and then the crowds poured into a small corridor, only to stop again after 30 meters to show the boarding pass again. Welcome and good bye to India! If you have children, be at the gate early and be prepared to defend your position near the boarding gate. I am not exaggerating, this is very irresponsible behaviour of Air India and of course I did take the chance to complain to two senior staff already. It is simply dangerous for everybody.
