I was very curious to see the movements in those hmt watches. Again, also these shots have been taking in quite a speed, I did not fuzz with lights and setup too much, so do not be tricked by this picture, the movements are as nicely finished as a modern Seiko 7S26. Maybe the finish of the bridges on these watches is even a bit finer. The modern Seikos are surprisingly coarse. All the watches I opened used plastic spacers and also that is perfectly consistent with their Japanese origins. Many purists despise plastic spacers, but if the compound is chemically stable, a plastic spacer represents in my opinion an ideal material for the task.
