Why I think this WATCH is interesting:
I have a very similar "Ocean Star" datoday in my collection! These were the first real "water-resistant" watches from "The King of Water Proof Watches" (MIDO Slogan in the 70ies). The older watch collectors will remember that MIDO shipped out fish tanks to the shops where the watches would be displayed and of course to proof their water resistance. I wanted one of these horological mile stones with the "Aquadura" one-piece case and the patented MIDO cork seal crown. This one comes with a rare manual in Thai language. Which might make it even rarer!
The watch also has Tritium luminous dots behind the Zirconia hour markers that still glow, not very strong, but they will still allow you to read the time in the dark. All in all a real 70ies Vintage watch that is not easy to find as New Old Stock these days!
