Why I think this watch is interesting:
In 1997 SEIKO released the first ever Kinetics Chronograph. I remember, I immediately wanted one. "No Sir, we got only 7 for whole Thailand and they are all sold on the first day. The retail price was THB 89'000 (ca. USD 3'560) Sir. And the price by now is probaby double that (ca. USD 7'000)". This anecdote is just to illustrate how hot those first Kinetic Chronographs were and still are!

The big advantage of this 45 minute chronograph is the NEW BIG CENTRAL CHRONOGRAPH second hand. Older Kinetic Chronographs had a double used sub dial for the hour and minutes and a smaller sub dial at 12 for the elapsed seconds. Now the SEIKO engineers managed to create a big central chronograph second hand and a dial layout that make reading elapsed times up to 45 minutes really easy!
