Why I think this watch is interesting:
New SEIKO 5 models MADE IN JAPAN - Not available outside Asia, if there was not Helen finding them for you!
If you do not like "smallish" watches, please hit the return button now :) The case diameter is 36 mm excluding the crown. Making these models ideal "beaters" (although I am shivering at the idea of beating a watch!). Also idea for sports, work around the house in the garden, washing the car should also not be a problem. Or playing with the children or walking the dog. For all situations where you do not want a higher priced watch being damaged.
I have often bought inexpensive watches and viewed them as "scratch insurance policies" (SIP) for the more expensive watches. To send the more expensive watch back to the factory and have the ding/scratch polished out, will be more expensive then one of these lovely Japan Made Seiko 5s!
