Kinetic watches require no battery change. The rotor drives a micro-generator which feeds a buffer battery that does not need replacement. An equivalent movement is the ETA Autoquartz. Eco-Drives from Citizen are normally solar powered, except for the Eco-Duo Drive which is a combination of a Kinetic-like movement with solar cells. I had a customer that had lost his watch (forgot it on the car top and driving off). He wanted the exact model and after seeing this dial I could understand why. He found a used same watch elsewhere and since this is such a stunning dial I decided to keep it and offer it here on PMWC!

Why I think this watch is interesting:
I find this dial stunning! Great looks, the color is between purple and blue and the dial changes its color depending on the viewing angle. Great solid-link bracelet with button clasp. I had set the time on 10:10 take the pictures and barely moved the watch. Now the watch is running like fully charged and the time is 1:10!

This shot comes pretty close to the color of the watch in reality. Very hard to capture this dial with a radial texture. The color keeps changing depending on the viewing angle.


Just a little speck on the outside of the crystal near 6, dial is immaculate

While we were able to get papers for previous watches, this one now comes without papers, we reduced the price to USD 185 accordingly


Extremely hard to catch this color right, please see the first picture, that comes closest to the reality! The dial has a radial pattern and the dial color changes from almost black to a purple or violet. A great effect when worn, but also almost impossible to catch in a picture. The color of the watch in the box above, is also very real, except that you can not see the sunburst texture, but that is about the base color of the dial.
