Clean Vintage NOS ETA Caliber 2671 as used in TUDOR Princesse watches in the late 70ies early 80ies. It is a 7 3/4 ligne movement or 17.5 mm diameter movement fitted into a 25 mm case. The rotor is marked as

The Swiss ligne is ca. 2.256 millimeters and close to the "English line" or the "French ligne". Most watches today - e.g. the ubiquitous 2824-2 are 11.5 ligne or 25.60 millimeters in diameter. Ligne is often also written as e.g. 7.75''' or 7 3/4'''. A traditional "line" or "ligne" (French for line) is 1/12 inch and ca. 2.1166 millimeter. Please note that the Swiss ligne used in watchmaking is slightly larger: 2.256 millimeters and correspongs to 12 points

Why I think this WATCH is interesting:
You need a WIS insurance? A WIS insurance is when you buy your partner a watch so you can get away with yet another purchase :) In my opinion these 25 mm Catorex watches make for great ladies' dress watches. Also, TUDOR used a very similar movement in their late 70ies early 80ies "Princesse" models. If you and or your partner like understatement (no famous name on the dial, but a unique piece), then I think these watches are perfect!
