Beng Yin is an Electrical Engineer and vintage watch collector - vintage Tudors (Rangers) are amongst his favorites! Beng Yin does not sell watches, but only handles Sandoz Singapore warranty works.

Helen, Hong Kong
Helen has more then 20 years experience in the jewelry business as a senior administrator and also worked for sales and business support. Check out Helen's Watch Album, it contains some interesting watches.

Reto, Bangkok

Like Beng Yin, I am also an Electrical Engineer but have worked with IT and IT education for most of my professional life. The person that triggered my passion with time was my high school math teacher. He handed me a paperback explaining the "Relativity Theory" in laymen's terms and with great illustrations a 14 year old could start to understand too. I do not know how many times I have read that book. To mentally accept that time is a variable (depending on the speed of your coordinate system in relation to the observing system) and to sell accurate time pieces at the same time.... this to me seems to be the most beautiful dilemma.

Our Forum
Click on the banner below and ask on the "Poor Man's" Watch Forum. We are a growing community with most of the forumners contributing from the USA and Europe. All you need to join is to register with a working email address. That takes about 30 seconds. Seconds later the initial password will be sent to that email address. You can then logon to the forum with the initial password and change the email address (adding ANTI SPAM tags seems like a good idea today) and the password to your liking. Of course unregistered guests are invited to see all posts on PMWF.

About our stock management
Hong Kong and Singapore provide excellent logistics. While Singapore is more expensive then Hong Kong for shipping, we stock only our Singapore watches in Singapore. All other watches - with the exception of watches that I can source locally here in Bangkok - are stocked in Hong Kong. This is the World's fastest free port. We had once shipped a watch on a Saturday afternoon and received news that it had arrived in Chicago the next morning at 10 AM.

Hong Kong calls its EMS (Express Mailing System) Speedpost and has been a great and reliable partner for us since we have started in May 2002

2. How we work as a Team

A. Ordering: Part of the automated links in our watch detail pages route your quote request to Helen at hwbbhwbb@yahoo.com or Reto at  reto@loxinfo.co.th. You will then receive a quote from either Helen or Reto and after your payment arrives, your order will be processed by Helen, Beng Yin or Reto, depending whether the watch is in stock in Hong Kong, Singapore or Bangkok.
B. Notification of all payments received will be sent from Helen from Hong Kong.
C. Tracking numbers will be sent from Helen in Hong Kong (90%) and Beng Yin from Singapore and Reto from Bangkok.
D. Post sales assistance: we will be here to assist you with any assistance you might require.
E: Sourcing watches not listed on the site: we have many times sourced special watches for our customers. If you can not find a watch online, drop us a mail and we will try whether we can locate the watch for you and send you a quote.

Payment done 31/05/04, watch delivered 04/06/04: Incredible!!!! The BM is perfect, also if the package seems open by customs. The taxes only 15,38 euros.... (about 10% of the parcels to Italy get opened by customs because of the current war about terrorism, about 4% to Europe and about 2% to the USA, note Reto)
