Watch can not be hand wound. But Orient rotors wind beautifully! So this really should not be a concern not to buy the watch. I first thought this would be a disadvantage too, but a little swaying gives you 2 hours of power reserve and it gradually builds up during wearing it.

Why I think this watch is interesting:
The Orient Star is the top line of Orient watches. This dial color looks outstanding IMHO. If you are looking for a smaller size watch, which even emphasizes the retro-look, this is the one to go for. Solid link bracelet and a reallly great finish, basically the same as on the Power Reserve watch.
