Watchbox and Papers: Watch comes in nice original NOS and collectible Tugaris Watch Pouch like in picture, no papers
Watch Description and Condition: Watch is new, condition is 98%, some minor hairlines as it is common for NOS watches of that age, not visible without magnification!
Measured Power Reserve (Crown Right): 54 (!!!) Hours, the watches had been running from March 27th 14:00 until March 29th 20:00. I find that really amazing for a small hand wind movement!

I had to replace the strap in the picture on some of the METIAS watches with a plain black strap like in the last picture on this page. The plastic cover of the croco-stamped leather strap was dried out on some of the watches and I decided to replace it with a new plain black leather strap like on the GOTIAR on the last picture


The smear is just some residue from the glue of the factory sticker on the case back. More interesting is the fact that the case is platinum plated!

This is the very similar movement from the round Hand Wind METIAS with the date at 2 o'clock. I had the shop open one case and found an almost identical but smaller movement in that Hand Wind Tonneau. The watch has no date and the caliber number is EF (Ebauche France) 38001. A very neat little hand wind with the exact same movement decoration is in the picture above. And the power reserve of 53 hours is really amazing in my opinion!

On some METIAS I replaced the croco-stamped leather strap with a plain black leather strap like on the GOTIAR since the PVC coating of the original strap was kind of cracked. Of course I also switched the buckle to the new plain strap.
