Why I think this WATCH is interesting:
A truly beautiful dress watch. Old nostalgic Certina Kurth Freres inscription on the dial. This watch was manufactured ca. 1999 and is discontinued and was a re-issue to celebrate those golden mechanical 50ies and 60ies when CERTINA was one of the leading mechanical Swiss watch companies. Today CERTINA sponsors the SUPER BIKE RACE CIRCUIT and offers mostly quartz watches targeted at a much younger public.

Like the SECTOR Expander 130 Chronograph, I bought this watch in my hometown in Switzerland in Summer 2003 never thinking of selling it. But back in Bangkok there have been so many of my watches in my private collection waiting and longing to get some wrist time, that I simply decided to let this great find go. I really have to many watches but at the same time, I love to buy watches. So I will have to let some of them go again.
