Why I think this watch is interesting:
These watches were manufactured in the 70ies and are in top condition. It is very hard to find watches from China in such an excellent condition today and they will certainly increase in value. Also the case, dial and hands are very well made, which is not always the case for watches MADE IN CHINA.

Details about this Watch

Price: Is firm, my margins are very small, no additional discounts sorry. See the Double Rhomb overview table for the price please.
Watchbox and Papers
: No boxes and papers, those are NOS Watches from the 70ies.

Watch Description and Condition
: Top condition, no scratches! There might be tiny hairlines which is quite normal for watches having been in the shop for 30 years but those could be buffed out very easily.. I have tested the watches, all run perfectly. During my tests with careful winding the power reserves were 42 to 48 hours.

Dimensions in mm:
Lug to lug: 43 mm
Lug Width: 18 mm
Height: 11 mm
Diameter excl. crown: 35.5 mm
(Watch looks a lot bigger due to big watch face, looks more like 37 mm watch. Please note, there is no outer bezel, it is integrated in the fairly large case, that is why the watch looks actually bigger)

The red second hand dot makes this watch look very Chinese. Red is the color of good fortune

There are still the factory stickers on the case backs

The Double Rhomb logo on the crown

This Export quality movement is significantly better finished then its siblings for the local market. Click here for a new window showing you the Hongye (Chinese for Double Rhomb) watch I had bought in Guelin, China. It is the watch in the middle and it is in my private collection.
