The case side "finish" is ugly, sorry, but there is no other word
I have looked at it several times with a loupe because I could not imagine what kind of tool would create such an irregular (the brush lines are not even parallel like on the front of the lugs) brush. Also it is not like a satin brush, it looks like a wobbling coarse polishing wheel quickly went over the case sides. The brush lines are deep and not like in a satin brush, there is space between the brush lines. A very unusual and ugly finish. But wait until you see the case back.
