The EL Light Button
is located at the 8 o'clock position and protected. Probably to avoid unintentional use of the battery draining EL light. The bezel is turning and provides a nice grip. The case finish is somewhat very special, some sort of a sandblast effect. The biggest disapppointment is the poor finish of the snap-on case back. "Made in Philippines" seems to be a lot worse then "Made in China".
