Where is the watch?
Seems to become a standard opening question for our watch series ;-) But I found this picture of the beach that morning so nice, I wanted to include it here. It also explains without many words why we had to move our photo series to the garden that morning.
We are looking direction North - Cha Am here, you can see some of the high-rise buildings. Luckily there was a law introduced, that does not allow to build high-rise close to the beach. At least that "fence" will not get denser in the future. However waste water treatment is still a largely if not completely unknown concept here. In the seven years I have been living in Thailand (1995 - 2002) the quality of the water here has significantly deteriorated. I am not sure, whether Reya and her kids will be able to play at the beach...:-(
