About this Series, Monday, December 30th,
2001
This was the toughest series I have ever shot: strong wind, fear of water
splashes ruining the camera, the watch disappearing in the waves twice and
rolling back into the deeper water and bright sunlight, not the photographer's
best friend. I had shot a first series and had to go up to the appartment to
check on the pictures. Obviously the AF had enormous difficulties with the light
conditions that day. Most of the pictures were unusable. So I deleted the
complete series and went to the beach once more.
