Seiko AGS from 1988

The first watches with Automatic Generating Systems (AGS)
appeared around 1987. Later AGS was renamed Kinetic and became one of the most successful lines of SEIKO. Of course also due to heavy marketing and advertising. "Some day all watches will be made like this" was probably the longest running and most expensive watch campain SEIKO every made and interestingly this Kinetic (please use the back button of your broswer to come back here) was on the posters for years, even at a time more attractive and new models were available.
