Not really surprisingly, these watch cases are from China. Please have a look at the second movement picture, I will tell you there why I think this watch has also been assembled in China. I think Seiko Corporation ships the movement to a factory in China and then assembles the watches there. I am not criticizing SEIKO really. There are many brands - also Swiss brands - that do the same. And fair enough, the dial shows MOV'T JAPAN and not JAPAN MADE. That is a fair declaration.
