The Sandoz brand name is owned by different
businesses in different locations
While I was trying to find more information
about the Sandoz brand, I found a reference to a Korean collaboration. Obviously
some QUARTZ models were produced with a Korean partner called RABAN. But those
were only Quartz watches and completely different models. I also find a website
and a brochure from a Sandoz company with yet another logo obviously located in
Spain. Have a look at
www.munreco.com and check it out yourself. It seems that the rights
to the brand name Sandoz have been sold to different partners in
different locations. Sandoz Swiss, Sandoz Hong Kong (Far East), Sandoz
Singapore and Sandoz Spain (Munreco) are all producing a different product
line and seem to be independent holders of the Sandoz name and
businesses. There are also different logos for Sandoz being used.
