Poljot Alarm, Cal. 2612,
Chronograph, Cal. 3133
(Made in USSR)

Historic Picture
These were the first pictures I posted at the Public Forum at Time Zone in
June 2001. The post was titled simply "Russian Watches". There were
more then 100 viewers during the first hour after post. I was surprised, I could
have never imagined, that the forum would be so active. The camera was the IXUS
Digital and I had no clue about lighting. I just placed the watches on a dark
background (non reflective as I thought at the time) and shot the pictures.
And I also learned, that those watches "MADE IN USSR" might have a
higher collector's value since the Sowjet Union does not exist anymore. The
newer Poljots are labeled "MADE IN RUSSIA".
