Poljot Chronograph, Cal. 3133
(Made in Russia)

See? This is how a WIS looks at a watch!
A WIS will always see the picture of a damage in maximal magnification! I really
do not like the feeling to having "butchered" a really nice NOS Poljot
Chronograph. The only consolation is that I was really
careful and increased opening pressure slowly and experimented with ALL MY case
openers. Also used ALL MY KNIVES. I must have used 20 tools and then realized I
would only destroy the case back further. I then decided to wear the watch and
was so happy to see that it was running at ca. +15 seconds and that it would not
need service soon. But still, a very unpleasant experience.
I asked fellow Poljot collectors on the forum and the result was: tolerance
problem. Some open easily, some don't. Oh well, at least I know this is most
likely to withstand the tropical climate here. I try to think positive, very
hard ;)
