I think that in about 5 years time from now (2002) small Watches will be fashionable again
The fashion industry for example relies heavily on people's capability of forgetting, thus the same fashion ideas are recycled. The garments of course become more and more hi-tech, but fashion mainly repeats itself.
Thus I dare to predict, that small watches will become fashionable again. This Mid-Size Rolex was quite fashionable back in ca. 1990, the watches were in general a lot smaller. And nobody would look at you strangely if you wore Mid-Size at that time. I am not sure about today...
