Fidelio Quartz Dress Watch, ca. 1987

This side shot has been added in July

Following a question on the PMWF.com: "Does wearing a Quartz movement
watch make you feel guilty?" by Flex. I added this Raymond Weil Fidelio as a sample in my
reply, that not only accuracy, but also size and aesthetics can play a role in
choosing a Quartz movement over a mechanical.
In this side shot you see not only how thin the watch is, but also how well
bracelet and watch head are integrated. I have always liked watch designs that
focus on that integration of watch and bracelet. The
Baume et Mercier
"Shogun" is another example.
