Through the Stereoscope (cont.)
And the lettering of the seconds sub dials looks really crisp under 20 times magnification. UHR-KRAFT's dial lettering quality is probably above the usual quality.

Conclusion
I am very straight - as usual I might add - I was not so excited when I unpacked the watch and did a first inspection with the loupe. I thought that the case and bezel were to broad in proportion to the dial diameter. I also found at first, that the hands were on the short side.

But after wearing the watch for 5 consecutive days, I freely admit, that I am in love with it. It had served me very well during the last 5 days. It survived the Friday boys out  without a scratch. It did a great job during the working weekend telling me the time well legibly during those long meeting sessions. It served me very well during my sports afternoon today.

You will get a big and heavy and well designed watch for a fair price in my opinion. As the price is only around USD 150 (or Euro 155), you can not expect an absolutely perfect watch. But in my opinion, if this watch's design appeals to you, then you could go for it with no worries. I love the design of this watch, so for me this is a watch that will get quite some wrist time in the future. I like to wear big watches and if the design of a watch is according to my taste, I can look at it again and again. Happy WIS world :-)

Of course there are some minor issues, the quartz movement contains no jewels and the very rudimentary manual - the content is OK - but the fact that it is a piece of paper rather then a booklet seems a tad strange when compared to the nice aluminum box. But one thing I really did not like is, that only the indices are luminous, the hands have no luminousity what so ever. That is quite strange and pretty inconsistent.

Since I like the design very much, I can live with this. Besides those non-luminous hands, this is a great watch for the money and it comes in very attractive package too.

Best regards
