The movement is from Japan, Miyota is to Citizen what ETA to the Swatch
Group, it is the movement manufacturing company that has a huge annual output
supplying of course to many non-Citizen brands.
Benetton watches were one of the first I remember, that carried that
million-wise produced Citizen Alarm Chronograph. So it is not really a surprise
to find a Miyota movement Cal. 0S20 in this watch.
I expected actually an ugly plastic spacer due to the large size of the watch,
but interestingly Miyota seems to produce its movements in many sizes.
You can see a metal sheet that serves as a protective shield and you can see the
stainless steel bridge hiding the gear train. No jewels in this movement, this
actually also came as a surprise.
