Fist Impression

My first impression was that the case was very light, yet sturdy. The unfished sharp edges of high-pressure molded Polypropylene were not to be found on this box! That is a very pleasant surprise. Whatever new toy my daughter get, I will have to cut off very sharp edges with a Japan cutter. Thank you Mattel and Disney for looking so well after our children. Those are not the only companies manufacturing in China, then testing one sample and simply ship the whole batch to the shelves of Toys-R-Us etc.
I do not know where the MKII Travel cases are manufactured, but this is definitely a user friendly finish out of the box! The finish of the outside is matte black and looks like bead blasted. The surface has a nice feel to it.
