Also from a flatter angle, you can clearly
note the difference in effectiveness of the anti-reflective coating. When
holding the Grand Seiko under a desk lamp you see two faint reflections of the
lamp: the inner AR coating seems to produce the smallest bluish reflection of
the lamp. Then there is a bigger greenish reflection of the lamp, most likely
from the outer AR coating.
Then holding the Aqua Terra under the same lamp, you do not see any color
reflection that would indicate an AR coating, even there is an inner AR coating
on the Aqua Terra. It seems that there are a lot of differences in effectiveness
of AR coatings.
