I will show you now a couple of pictures focusing on the parts of the watches you can see while wearing them. What follows now is a picture tour around both watches.
A big surprise however for me was to see that the Grand Seiko's dial is actually BROWN-GOLDEN underneath the black! I still remember that sunny Hong Kong afternoon - while sitting on the top of the double decked bus that should take me to town - when I realized that the GS' dial had a brown-golden shimmer to it. I was first shocked and could not believe my eyes! Then I pulled the 10 x loupe and checked again. The dial seems to be translucent to some degree and the brown-golden effect is really only visible in strong direct sunlight.
