Mostly known for the Meisterstueck Fountain Pens, Montblanc's tradition lies in the making of fine writing instruments. The logo should resemble the snowy cap of the Montblanc peak in the the Alps dividing France and Switzerland. Montblanc with 4811 m above sea level is the highest mountain in the Alps. Some of the limited Montblanc Fountain Pen series had an edition volume of 4811 pieces.
