you can still see the factory lettering. I had found this vintage marvel at a shop foreclosure sale. And since it was from IWC, I was not hesitating to getting it for my collection. I had offered my wife to wear it, but she said it was way too old-fashioned. So it will remain in new old stock (NOS) condition in my collection. The price was reduced from CHF 850 to CHF 425 and I bought the watch in the late 80s or early 90s. A friend of mine had found the newspaper ad about this foreclosure sale and I was able to get quite a few watches. The 50% discount was naturally an additional temptation.
