I do not know the font Seiko is using here, but it seems to have been used consistently through the history of Grand Seiko. Looks like a modified Gothic font. I am sure it has a name and maybe it has been especially designed for the Grand Seikos. I am sorry to leave you with so many open questions at this stage, but I will sure add and correct information as I receive it.
