Second Citizen 3 Channel Radio Watch

The Second Generation shows a completely
different Design
The central antenna of the first generation was a compromise that sacrificed
a lot of the readability. The second generation is however esthetically not
convincing at all. Obviously the designers went for the black color for the
antenna, to advertise the technological nature of the watch or to justify the
not very nice shape. Somehow - despite the worse readability - the fist
generation watch was a better outcome.
More disappointing however are the corrosion (rust?) stains on the case. With
good eyes you could see the worst spot on the right side of the case. This is
the first Japanese watch I own, that shows corrosion. So far I have been very
impressed with the Japanese material selection and quality. Maybe this one uses
Chinese steel ;-)
