This watch, the Gold Coin pocket watch and the Shanghai Diamond Factory automatic were my only Chinese watches back in 2001. And pictures of them spurred a lot of interest. I was surprised that so many TimeZoners were interested to see pictures of these simple watches. Now only 10 years later, there are many collectors outside China. And Chinese watches can be found in many watch collections around the world. To us Western collectors, the attractive case backs alone - in a way similar to Russian case backs - and the often very low prices are simply irresistible.
