The Memory Protect and the Shortcut to the Calculator
Were the most remarkable new features of this database watch. Memory protect meant, that finally that funny sentence in the Casio manual "Always keep written records of your data in case it gets lost or the battery runs out of power" was obsolete. The data would stay in the new chip, even the battery was dead.
The shortcut to the Calculator mode was also very useful I you used this watch while traveling for currency conversion. You did not have to push the Mode button 4 times to reach the Calculator, or if you missed it, another 7 pushes to finally get it again.
