A very useful little winding helper
I found this inexpensive winding tool in Hong Kong. It helps you turn small crowns. As the watch parts shop owner told me, it was designed for those that professional have to wind watches many times a day and maybe for those with older fingers.
I pressed on the button on the back end of the tool, it's tip then opens like one of those 0.5 mm pencils. The toothed opening guarantees for a firm grip on the crown. This little helper makes winding really easy, especially on "dry" movements that do not wind very smoothly anymore. See the page "In Operation" for more.
