is marked on the case back. The watch industry is always tempted to write "new features" on the case back. This watch is from the late 80ies and ETA had just introduced the visual indication (2 or 4 second step for the central second hand) for its quartz movements and obviously the OEMs found this new feature worth to be engraved on the case back.
