Then it will become clear when looking at the movement. This SSIH development is a further development of the Omega Seamaster Lap Memory. I was very tempted to buy this watch, because the Omega with the very similar movement was twice the price. One has to add though, the case with the 18 Karat gold inlays was certainly a cost factor as well. And as always, the first run of a newly developed movement will be priced much higher then consecutive series that might be open to other brands.
