So this very unique Cosmo King will probably stay on my wrist as is and remind me, that shortcuts really don't pay off. I should have taken off the hands before trying to move them. But I had played with a couple of vintage watches before and those watches obviously had a lot weaker fit of the hands on the cannon pinion. Anyway, I learned my lesson today, had a very exciting and intensive watch day and this multi-color hour hand will remind me not to shortcut again.
I also tried to imagine, what an eventual buyer of this watch (maybe on Bangkok's biggest weekend market Jatujak) in 60 years might think if he had a closer look at this very special Cosmo Kong: "What the heck happened to this hour hand! And now where am I supposed to find a replacement hand please?" And I almost laughed out loud, this watch already has a rich history today.
